[afnog] Sendmail Vs Qmail mail delivery

I have migrated from sendmail to qmail.
Mails are delivered well to /home/user/Maildir.
*Sendmail is completely deleted*
When users try to pop their mail, they get message that there are no mails: the system is still looking at /var/spool/mail.

How do i tell qmail to deliver to /var/spool/mail? or how should users pop their mail from /home/user/Maildir?
