I am managing the IPv6 deployment on a community network in South
Africa. We are currently using 'private' IP's so you won't be able to
access our network.
Most of our routing core is MikroTik ROS which doesn't support a v6
capable OSPF yet. For this reason all our routing is static at the
moment which is a little tedious on a network our size.
IPv6 enabled services have been trivial to deploy. Most of the major
open source servers and clients (eg. dns, mail, http, irc, ftp, etc)
support IPv6 either in their default config or with minimal config changes.
Overall the fundamentals of IPv6 networking are not very different from
the fundamentals of IPv4 networking. You should be able to easily deploy
IPv6 if you have a good understanding of networking.
