Is there any particular reason you are running your PE 
routers with a private ASN?

Your PE routers can share the same public ASN as your other 
routers, as well as continue to provide L3VPN access to 
customers connected to them.

This is possible - Internet routes, i.e., routes received 
from other ISP's, will be installed into the global routing 
table.

Routes received from L3VPN customers connected to these 
routers will be installed into a VRF that they belong to.

So generally speaking, you can use the router for both PE 
and regular border/peering functionality, since the routing 
tables are separate.
