First thing I did actually while looking through  sendmail.cf. In my case
it returns /etc/mail/sendmail.cw which does not contain this domain name
at all. It looks to me like either sendmail is taking this domain to be
local or it is trying to deliver to the address before the mxes which
woudl certainly be the wrong order.
