Blinking, you mean the monitor keeps flickering?

Check your hardware first? Does it flicker only when you load the operating system, or does it also flicker during the BIOS POST?

I have just installed Red Hat 7.1 and have almost everything working except the system starts blinking after booting up,it shows localhost login but i can't login due to the blinking.
Can anybody help with a solution
