The configuration of IP routing is usually done at the global configuration level.
 
Usually, you configure static maps at the interface configuration level, for instance, when using frame relay or ISDN-BRI and DDR.

pls will I enter the serial interface port b4 I enter this command like conf term#int s0/0 b4 now type ip route 1.2.3.4 255.255.255.255 null 0 or I can type it in at the global configuration menu like conf term>config# ip route 1.2.3.4 255.255.255.255 null 0?
