Hi Paul.

 

DVB works with both 10Mbps and 100Mbps [fast ethernet]. This should not really give you a performance problem, although it is recommended that you have a fast ethernet so your core is not the bottleneck to your service/network.

 

However, all the major DVB reciever manufacturers I know ship their boxes with fast ethernet interfaces.

hi mark,

are u saying the DVB can only work with fastethernet interface?. cos am using a 10baseT interface on my router, can this cause any link problem on a network?
