RE: Strange ISDN Problem

Hi Mark,

Thanks for your response. I will try what you have
suggested and let you know how it goes.

However, this is more of a work-around. You see my
call should be connected as a digital 64Kbps
connection to the PRI/E1. With what you have suggested
the call is connected as an analogue 64kbps
connection. This is similar to what happens when a
dial-in user using an analogue line calls the AS5300
via an ISDN PRI.(am i right?)

So the problem still persists that my telco cannot
switch the call with the correct bearer capability.

Nonetheless, it may not matter now as my call still
gets connected. Question is what i do loose if i swap
the remote BRI with a V.90 modem and an analogue line?
(well save for the reduction in speed from 64kbps to a
max of 56Kbps)

The international ISDN BRI/PRI service is being
provided via Satellite. Voice calls work like a charm
:), now if only i can get this data calls working...

Thanks and regards
George Murage
