Hi all,

I am in the process of ordering SFP modules for cisco routers and need some advise on supported temperature range.

According to the product data sheet the routers support modules with Extended Temperature range (EXT) -5°C to 85°C.
The SFP modules I am planning to order have same part number and overall specs, with the only difference that their power requirement is Commercial Temperature Range (COM) 0 to 70°C.

Is it possible to use COM SFP module with router ports that require EXT temp range (since COM seems to fall into EXT temp range)?

Regards,
