There is nothing special to IPv6 here.

forwarders {
          2001:db8::dcaf:bad;
        };

This is exactly what the ARM says:

           <varlistentry>
              <term><command>forwarders</command></term>
              <listitem>

                  Specifies the IP addresses to be used
                  for forwarding. The default is the empty list (no
                  forwarding).
