[afnog] Cacti Graphing of SVI Interfaces

Just to throw another spanner, we are facing an almost similar issue graphing EtherChannels on Huawei NE40E platform using Cacti 0.8.8a. We are able to see graphs that are three times less the actual traffic traversing the link.

I can't speak to the HP switch, but the Cisco 3750 switch
has a known hardware limitation that will not give you
correct counters on SVI interfaces.
On this platform, the SVI interface counters are actually
control plane packets, i.e., management traffic. Data plane
traffic is not correctly counted on this platform due to
hardware limitations. This is probably the reason you're
having problems graphing the SVI interface.
You don't get this issue on many other Cisco switches.
