In cooperation with Hon. Makame MBARAWA, the Minister of Communication, Science and Technology of the United Republic of Tanzania, Entico Events are pleased to announce the second edition of the Great Rift Valley ICT Summit, to take place in Dar es-Salaam, Tanzania, between the 23rd and the 24th of April, 2014.



The summit will gather Ministers of Communication & Information Technology and relevant international organisations, including international development agencies, with operators and private companies able and interested in taking part in the development of the ICT sector in the region.



TOPICS FOR PRESENTATIONS AND DISCUSSIONS



The mornings of the Summit offer the delegates unparalleled insight as senior officials and decision makers announce their development plans, project information, ready-to-invest projects and new technologies in a series of plenary sessions. Delegates will be encouraged to join in the discussion with a Q&A session. Key themes include:

*         Regulation

*         Financing

*         Capacity building

ONE-TO-ONE PRESCHEDULED ROUNDTABLE MEETINGS



To ensure maximum benefit is gained from these meetings, detailed profiles of all attending officials outlining their role and responsibilities will be issued prior to the summit. Delegates can then make an informed choice of whom to meet and at which roundtables. Participants receive an individually tailored itinerary, based on their choices. Meeting areas are discreetly located, free from the distracting paraphernalia of a traditional exhibition hall. Instead, attention is focused on the core concerns of the individuals.
