Your ISP doesn't even need to join the ISP for this to get 
messy. 

Inconsistent routing between your upstreams and peers means 
traffic will trombone the world when it should cross the 
exchange point, even without your upstream being present at 
the exchange point.

Ultimately, announce consistently.
