Indeed and I remember sometime last year there was another reporting of
such an incident by one of the networks in the continent where their
prefixes i believe intensionally or accidentally hijacked.
Considering the BGP paradigm that is enherently based on unconditional
trust between peers, RPKI implementations could come in handy as another
counter-measure IMHO.
