Hi folks,
I'm playing around with 1.1.1.1 from .mu. Cloudflare has a PoP in .mu,
but right now the high latency indicates that the traffic is going
through international links for DNS.

After talking to the Cloudflare folks, they hinted that deployment is gradual.
I thought that it would be nice to see how 1.1.1.1 is doing around the
Cloudflare PoPs in africa. I use RIPE Atlas to send pings to 1.1.1.1,
based on regions where both RIPE Atlas probes and Cloudflare PoPs are
present: durban, jnb & kenya.

I parsed the json output using jq:

8 out of the probes have < 5 ms latency, while 5 of the probes have
latencies > 20 ms. This indicates that many of the CloudFlare PoP can
serve DNS.
