It's been a while since I paid any attention to these devices, but this
really impacted the Cisco 6500 and 7600 platforms, equipped with some
variation of the SUP720 supervisor engine.

As popular as the 6500 and 7600 were, any operator worth their salt has
know, for years now, that it won't scale with the current IPv4 Internet
table. If anyone is still running these with a need to hold a full table
in FIB, well, you can't say you didn't know...
