Dear Colleagues,
AFRINIC is pleased to announce the launch of the "IPv6 Foundations" e-course. Through this course, you will build a solid foundation of the principles of IPv6 networking, and by the end of the course, you should be able to:
• Articulate the reasons why deploying IPv6 is critical to the growth of the Internet
• Identify the different types of IPv6 addresses and their use cases
• Describe how EUI-64, semantically opaque and pseudo-random interface identifiers are generated
• List the ways in which IPv6 differs from IPv4 at a packet level
• Explain the use of IPv6 extension headers
• Identify IPv6 equivalents for every IPv4-feature you run in your network.
This course is now open for registration at https://academy.afrinic.net/courses/6found
