This is a final reminder to join the Virtual Peering Series session on the 80/20 vision for Africa. This session will take place tomorrow 2nd November at 13:00 -15:00 UTC.

The session will highlight the key findings of the Internet Society’s report “Moving Toward an Interconnected Africa: The 80/20 Initiative”. The report, published in July 2021, provides useful insights on the growth of the Internet exchange point (IXP) ecosystem in Africa - focusing on specific countries.

Panelists in this online event will analyze the current situation, share success stories and underlying challenges, and discuss how to foster IXP growth and increase local traffic exchange on the African continent.
