Register for Introduction to Network Operations 1.0 (NetOps 1.0)

Internet Society is pleased to offer the next course in its Learning program: Introduction to Network Operation 1.0

This course provides step-by-step guidance on how to configure a UNIX/Linux server and run a caching Domain Name System (DNS) server in a virtualized environment.  The techniques covered in this course are applied to set up Internet-ready caching DNS servers in real-world environments.

The course is designed for novice/entry-level UNIX/Linux users interested in learning about UNIX/ Linux, networking, and DNS. It also serves as the next learning step for those individuals who successfully pass our DDCN course.

The course is offered online with dedicated tutors moderating live sessions and is available in three languages (English, French, and Spanish).

The approximate duration of this course is 6 weeks (30 hours) and it has 6 modules.

The next cycle starts on 11 September 2023 and runs through 06 October 2023.

Register for our course – Advanced Network Operations 2.0 (NetOps 2.0)



Internet Society is pleased to offer the next course in its Learning program: Advanced Network Operations 2.0

This course is a follow-up to the Introduction to Network Operations 1.0 course and aims to build on the knowledge of more advanced aspects of core Internet services and new technologies. Core topics covered in this course include advanced DNS operations, introduction to email, securing web services, and network monitoring.

This course is for intermediate-to-expert-level engineers interested in learning and deploying core Internet services using open-source software.

The course has a pre-requisite of completing the introduction to network operations 1.0, as it is continuity to an advanced learning step for those individuals who successfully pass the Netops 1.0 course. Course participants are required to have a firm understanding of the UNIX/Linux environment.

The approximate duration of this course is 4 weeks (30 hours) and it has 5 modules.

The course is offered online with dedicated tutors moderating live sessions and is available in three languages (English, French, and Spanish).

The next cycle starts on 11 September 2023 and runs through 06 October 2023.
