Hello All,
You are invited to the webinar Building Resilient Networks – What You Need to Know About Deploying an ICANN Managed Root Server (IMRS) Single in Africa. Join us on Thursday, 4 April 2024 at 12:00 UTC.
Register today.<https://icann.zoom.us/webinar/register/WN_9i7q5VFPQWOAnu6C3jrLaw#/registration>
This webinar will cover everything you need to know about IMRS Singles, including the call for expressions of interest<https://coalitionfordigitalafrica.africa/news/phase_2_officially_opens_expansion_of_icann_managed_root_server_singles_in_africa> for Africa-based organizations interested in hosting their own.
By hosting an IMRS Single, organizations can potentially enhance network performance, contribute to the robustness of the Domain Name System (DNS), decrease DNS query response times, and reduce bandwidth usage for root-zone queries.
Join us live to have the chance to have your questions personally answered by ICANN’s during the Q&A session.
The webinar will be in English with French interpretation available via phone. Participants wishing to listen and speak in French should share their contact numbers so that an operator can dial out to them.
We hope to see you there!
