SO: It is very unfortunate that CIL used one the actions of the Board and
my comment thereof as a supporting evidence for his case, but I maintain my
opinion on "our" action as a Board at that time. It is also absolutely
incorrect that the single event is the only thing that led to the current
situation at AFRINIC. I will not speak further on this knowing that CIL has
an ongoing legal case against me in my country, there will be the right
time for everything.

SO: How do you formally bring matters to members without a properly
constituted Board as per the bylaw? The other option is for members to
unite to call an SGMM but as you can see the number of active members to
meet the required threshold makes this almost impossible. Since we know
there is no way we could meet the current bylaw in totality then I believe
any reasonable solution that is transparent enough should be acceptable to
members. Events at AFRINIC are becoming a tool for various quarters to
achieve their own personal interests.
