The African Peering & Interconnection Forum (AfPIF) Call for Volunteers

Summary:

The AfPIF Program Committee is seeking volunteers from the community to
join the AfPIF Program Committee for a three (3) year term.

The Program Committee (PC) is responsible for developing the agenda of the
annual AfPIF event and selecting future AfPIF host countries. This
opportunity is open to anyone who is interested in the African Internet
ecosystem and is willing to volunteer their time and expertise. There are
no restrictions based on nationality, geographic location, or affiliation.
Preference will be given to applicants who have attended one or more AfPIF
events.

AfPIF Event Overview:

The African Peering and Interconnection Forum (AfPIF) is a three (3) day
event which addresses the key interconnection, peering, and traffic
exchange opportunities and challenges on the continent and provides
participants with global and regional insights for maximising opportunities
that will help grow Internet infrastructure and services in Africa.

The forum targets executives, business development managers, peering
coordinators, and engineers from Internet exchange points (IXPs), network
operators, content providers, and infrastructure providers.

The conference format consists of keynotes, presentations, panel sessions,
tutorials, and lightning talks. There are also dedicated networking
sessions and social events. Additional information is available here for
