Bro in your publication, just remember to indicate if there were other
qualified candidates or not. When 2 or very few candidates exists that
meets the requirement, eliminating to remain a sole candidate should not be
a core goal of nomcom

I am not a fan of a single candidate but if there were no other applicants
that meets the basic nomination requirements then there will be nothing to
slate other than the sole candidate which is fine.

As I said in the past, one of the critical role of nomcom is to produce a
competitive slate..I want to assume there were no other qualified
candidates for that region and considering that this current nomcom did not
have so much time on their hands to attempt lengthy extensions we live with
what we have.
