[afnog] Reminder: Constitution of the Appeal Committee

Dear PDWG,

The AFRINIC Policy Development Appeal Committee, or the Appeal Committee, is a committee appointed by the AFRINIC Board, intended to adjudicate appeals in terms of the Conflict Resolution section of the AFRINIC Policy Development Process (PDP). Any such appeal will involve a disagreement regarding the actions taken by the Chair(s) of the Policy Development Working Group (PDWG). The AFRINIC Board is hereby calling for nominations from the community for three Appeal Committee positions up for appointment: one former AFRINIC Director, one former PDWG Chair and one active PDWG member.

Le Comité d'appel du processus d'élaboration des politiques d'AFRINIC, ou Comité d'appel, est un comité nommé par le Conseil d'administration d'AFRINIC, chargé de statuer sur les appels introduits dans la section « Résolution des conflits » du Processus d'élaboration des politiques (PDP) d'AFRINIC. Tout appel de ce type porte sur un désaccord relatif aux actions entreprises par le ou les président(s) du Groupe de travail sur l'élaboration des politiques (PDWG). Le Conseil d'administration d'AFRINIC lance par la présente un appel à candidatures auprès de la communauté en vue de pourvoir trois postes au sein du Comité d'appel : un ancien administrateur d'AFRINIC, un ancien président du PDWG et un membre actif du PDWG.
