there is one document published in english and french from afnog3 in 2002 
that alain aina hosted in lome you might find useful, in case you have not 
seen it. it was the beginning of funding and support for french language 
programs at afnog, thanks to pierre ouedraogo.

including the beautiful, classic hand-painted welcome banner that alain 
provided at the entrance of the hotel venue.
