Re : Re: mail server config

Hi,

I have been following your posts with interest and I suggest the following:

1. First read some book or howto on linux system administration. There used to be a guide called LAME ( Linux Administration Made Easy) if you search google for this string you should be able to download this and read it. This should give you a good understanding of linux system administration. If you have access to it, the Oreilly book titled "Running Linux" is a good place to start and this would not be complete without a visit to http://www.tldp.org

2. After this you can then engage in installing various packages you want like apache, exim etc. Take them one at a time. At the moment you're trying too many things at the same time and not completing any. Set your mind on one of them, concetrate read howtos on the web, search google until it is up and running properly then move on to the next one.

just my 2 cents...

cheers,
