Dear Colleagues,
Please I need your urgent assistance; I’m involved in a project
comparing consumer broadband services in South
Africa, Zambia, Angola, Cameroon and Zimbabwe.
I’m hoping you will assist me with this.
Here's
what I’m looking for:
*
Use data for the best, widely available consumer broadband Internet service
around (pick the one you think is representative of services consumers can get in
the market in the above countries).
*
Include taxes, because I understand these can be substantial in some regions
*Please help me by answering the questions below
1.
Which technology is commonly used in South Africa (DSL, CATV, Fiber to the
home, Satellite)
2.
What are the speeds supported (down link and uplink)?
3.
What is the cost per month?
4.
Does the service at this price also cover a standard phone line (non-VoIP)?
(yes or no) ** If no, how much more does one have to pay for that?
5.
Does the service at this price also cover TV service? (yes or no) ** If no, how
much more does one have to pay for that?
Looking forward to your usual quick responses in such
matters
