[afnog] CISCO & 4byte AS numbers

I have a cisco 7201 running c7200p-advipservicesk9-mz.124-24.T8.bin

 

My challenge is that I receive 4byte AS paths in ASdot notation.

Eg:

*> 41.x.w.0/24                  196.0.0.1                 175      0 1234
3454 5.13 i

*> 41.z.t.0/22                   196.0.0.1                 175      0 1234
3454 5.13 i

 

 

I haven't configured asdot notation, this version of code doesn't even
have the option under the bgp config for the command "bgp asnotation xxx".

 

I have managed to find a posting where two people have had this issue.

 

I find it strange that such a late version of code would still follow
asdot notation.

Has anyone had/got this issue or any ideas to get around this?
