[afnog] Invitation: Internet Measurements Workshop at AIS'18 in Dakar - Sunday, 6th of May, 2018

Dear colleagues,

You are invited to an Internet Measurements workshop to take place at the
AIS2018 <https://www.internetsummit.africa/agenda/programme> in Dakar,
Senegal, on Sunday, 6th of May, 2018 in the Etiene Victor room, Radisson
Blu Hotel, from 9:00 to 17:30.

The workshop aims to provide participants with hands-on training on tools
and techniques for conducting Internet measurements. There will also be
presentations and discussions on some recent measurements case-studies on
Africa’s Internet. Participants will also have the opportunity to discuss
and establish collaborations around Internet measurements research in
Africa.

The hands-on training will focus on Ripe Atlas and perfSONAR, and will be
facilitated by researchers and engineers from AFRINIC Ltd, RIPE NCC,
WACREN/NEAAR and Research ICT Africa. The workshop agenda is here
