Yes.  Many people seem to be sending a lot of data to Facebook.

But that aside: is there a correlation between mobile/fixed line and 
so-called "smart" phone penetration?

Most Facebook victims in Europe (and presumably America) have their data 
extracted by means of their mobile phones.  Is this also the case in 
Africa?
