Please pass on thanks from the INEX team for the kind support of the
network operator communities.  Even though he was personally less well
known in the southern african region, his legacy on the African continent
will be his support for IXP Manager from its earliest stages and making
sure that it had the full backing of INEX's board and membership.

You're probably familiar with his African connections.  He always talked
fondly about when he lived in Kenya and he had happy memories of his times
there.

We'll let Sandy know about the minute's silence.

The SAFNOG-4/EANOG/tzNOG conference is ongoing at the moment. Mark Tinka of
the organising committee said they will do a minutes silence tomorrow
morning in honour of Barry Rhodes.
