My comment was about the lack of community
representatives for Africa and the Indian Ocean region.

There was an announcement [1] which said that the
company (in receivership) was previously
represented by another receiver and that there
was current receiver replaced the previous
one. The name is identical to the one in records
published on a government web site. Where does
the unable to represent AFRINIC come from?

I'll send you the link off-list.

I commented on the two members for the community
side. I did not get into whether the third
member can be appointed or not. There would be a
reason for having community representatives in
this region or else it would be specified as
optional. I was looking at the matter in terms
what could be done. If it cannot be done, it may
be possible for someone to clarify that.

I attended a technical conference last week. I
was asked what would happen. There wasn't any comment about elections.
